The NEC Group had long been considered a rather old fashioned exhibitions, events and conferences organisation with equally outmoded venues.
We were asked to take a fresh look at its brand identity to help build a new, credible image to support a major £40m capital investment programme in place to upgrade and modernise its core venues, and so change public perception.
We proposed a new positioning, 'where people come to see the future' and a set of values to support this. Using a mixture of illustrative, photographic and graphic images we created a new look and feel that is progressive, imaginative and unique, positioning The NEC Group at the forefront of the exhibitions and entertainment industry, targeting not only today's clients and visitors, but tomorrow's as well.
